Blitzboks settle for bronze at Cape Town Sevens

Cape Town - The Blitzboks have settled for bronze after edging New Zealand in the third-place Cup Cape Town Sevens encounter on Sunday.

The Blitzboks won 10-5 after levelling 5-5 at half-time.

Neil Powell's side ran through two tries through Werner Kok and Dewald Human.

New Zealand Sevens, who are the defending Cape Town Sevens champions, could only muster a sole try through Sione Molia.

Meanwhile, Kalione Nasoko and Vilimoni Botitu each scored two tries as Fiji defeated the USA 29-15 to capture their first title in South Africa since 2005/6.
