SEATTLE, Washington Inc., and Apple Inc., have struck a deal tobroaden their business relationship, in advance of the Christmas and holiday season.

Until now, Amazon has marketed a limited number of Apple products including Mac computers and Beats headphones.

Under the terms of the new arrangements, Amazon will include in its distribution inventory the latest Apple iPhones, iPads and other devices, along with the Apple watch.

Were working with Amazon to improve the experience for Apple customers on their site and we look forward to those customers having another great way to buy iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and more, Apple said in a statement released on Friday.

The deal enables the worlds largest retailer to market the Apple products across a range of countries including the United States.

Other countries that Amazon will seek to market Apple products to include India and Japan, and member nations of the European Union.

The impact of Amazon as a marketer is winning over companies such as Apple, which in the past have resisted being part of the retailers ongoing revolution. The extent of sales Amazon is now racking up across a broad range of products, well beyond books, has made them too big a marketer and distributor to ignore.

Third-party marketers that have carried Apple products on Amazon will see their arrangements end on 4 January 2019 when Amazon will represent many of Apples products direct.
