Scattered showers and thundershowers are predicted for KZN, while isolated showers and thundershowers are expected along the escarpment and eastern Highveld of Mpumalanga from the afternoon.
Minimum temperatures are expected to be cool along the southern parts of the Great Karoo and the Little Karoo.
Warmer conditions are expected along the coastline and the central interior of the country, and hot weather has been predicted for the north.
Sutherland in the Northern Cape is expected to be one of the coldest places, with an expected minimum temperature of 4C.
Maximum temperatures remain cool along the coast. Cold weather has been predicted for the southern coastline and the southern half of the Northern Cape.
Warm weather is expected along parts of the West Coast, the northern half of the Northern Cape, the Free State, and the Highveld region.
Hot to very hot conditions can be expected all along the north, including in Gauteng and North West regions.
Musina and Lephalale in Limpopo are expected to be two of the hottest places, each reaching a high of 37C.

Along the coast, Cape Town is expected to reach a high of 21C, while Port Elizabeth is expected to hit a maximum of 15C. Durban is expected to reach a high of 20C.
